Key Responsibilities:
- Reorganise the current store and inventory in the workshop.
- Take ownership of digitalising and automating store processes.
- Improve work processes to reduce human-to-human contact in all store-related activities to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming goods and supplies.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all inventory transactions.
- Maintain stock levels and reorder items as needed.
- Issue materials and items to various departments as requested.
- Organise and maintain cleanliness in the store and warehouse areas.
- Perform quarterly stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor for damaged or expired items and follow proper disposal procedures.
- Coordinate with all departments regarding deliveries and stock requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Take full ownership of all inventory items in the store and workshop.
Essential Requirements:
- Some experience in logistics.
- Possessing a forklift license will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Familiar with ERP systems.
- Computer literate.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to speak Mandarin will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of logistics.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
